For Higher Order Thinking Skills Projects

1. RESOURCED-BASED PROJECT
         In these projects, it encourages higher order thinking skills by letting he students/learners find their own facts and information through themselves. The students alone who will demonstrate creativity through activities searching information, organizing and synthesizing ideas, creating presentations and so forth.
  REMEMBER:
   - Teacher is a guide and facilitator
   - Sources are varied.
   - Focus on learning inquiry/quest/discovery.
   - Emphasis on process
   - Assessment in quantitative and qualitative
2. SIMPLE CREATIONS
        Creativity as an outcome should not be equate with ingenuity or higher intelligence . Creating is more consonant with planing, making, assembling, designing, or building.

3. GUIDED HYPERMEDIA PROJECTS
         The production of self-made multimedia projects can be approached in two different ways:
           1. as an instructive tool, such as the production by students of a PowerPoint   
               presentation of  a selected topic.
           2. as an communication tool, such as when students to a multimedia presentation
              (  with text, graphs, photos, audio-narration, interviews, video clips, etc.) to  timulate 
              a television news show.
4. WEB-BASED PROJECTS
         These projects are for creating web-pages for project. but, it may be too sophisticated and time consuming for the average student. in posting web-pages in the internet allows the students a wider audience. this can use for linking with related sites in the internet. these creative projects may be to ambitious as a tool in the teaching-learning process.

            If I am the teacher, I will promote Resource-based project in my teaching by implementing inductive approach. Inductive Approach comprises inquiry, solving problem and using multimedia or varied sources strategies. It boosts motivation that arouse creativity. Basically, creativity happens when the teacher allows the students find, solve, and perform solutions to the problem.
           In my teaching, my role is a guide and a facilitator. I will make keen monitoring to them by manifesting the instruction/direction correctly. I will clarify and emphasize the process. And, allow them to use varied materials and sources to drive and help for creative and excellent project/outcome. As to the assessment of my students, I will make sure that the content has cognitive, psychomotor, and affective test. Its a matter of quantitative and qualitative evaluation for their individual learning styles and multiple Intelligences.
